INGREDIENTS
4 cans beer (12 oz)
2 onions, peeled and chopped
2 Tbsp butter
10 bratwurst
10 hot dog buns
Mustard for taste when serving

INSTRUCTIONS
Pour beer into a large saucepan. Add onions and butter. Bring to a simmer on the stovetop.

When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 350° and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

Put a deep disposable aluminum foil pan on one side of the Traeger. Carefully pour the beer and onions from the saucepan into the pan on the grill.

Arrange the brats on the other side of the grill grate. Grill the brats until cooked through, turning frequently, for about 20 to 25 minutes.

Transfer the brats to the beer mixture and cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil.

Let the brats simmer until the onions are tender, roughly 45-60 minutes. When approaching final minutes, butter the cut sides of the buns and toast on the grill.

To serve, lift a brat out of the mixture and put it on a bun. Top with onions and mustard and enjoy!
