Nestled in a charming courtyard on W. Dover Street in downtown Easton, The Ivy features fresh and inventive carryout lunch and has earned thousands of followers on social media in just a year-and-a-half. The Ivy gives new meaning to “fast food” by working efficiently to ensure customers are in-and-out with plenty of time to enjoy their lunch. The Ivy strives to source local ingredients from farms, including Bramble Blossoms, Where Pigs Fly Farm and Pops Old Place. Its friendly and accommodating staff prepares farm-to-table food for new and returning customers daily from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m.
The Ivy menu favorites include: a Cuban — pulled pork sandwich with ham, Swiss cheese, sautéed onions and peppers and spicy mustard relish on a ciabatta, a grilled chicken cobb and a tarragon chicken salad, which is prepared fresh daily. Of its salmon nicoise salad, one faithful patron wrote, “This was the highlight of my day yesterday! Woke up hoping you would have it again today.”
“It really is more than just food to us. We strive to remember you by your first name, remember your pet’s names, remember your allergies and what you don’t like on your sandwich,” says owner/operator Jennifer McCrea, who is expanding The Ivy with a new indoor dining/event space this fall. “It’s important for us to know that we’ve created a relationship with our customers, so they know they aren’t just another order to us.”
