Living in Full Color

Annapolis Artist Jen Sterling Brings “Color, Art & Energy” To Easton In September

Annapolis-based abstract artist Jen Sterling will present her solo exhibition, Color, Art & Energy, at The Zebra Gallery in Easton from September 5-30. The show will feature her vivid, energetic compositions that use bold color and gesture to convey emotion, strength and empowerment.
Jen, who earned a degree in visual communications with a minor in psychology from George Washington University, spent more than 30 years leading creative agencies before focusing on a fine art career. Inspired by emotional landscapes, her works often begin with a single color choice and evolve into multi-layered acrylic pieces reflecting movement and feeling.

She describes her art as being less about matching décor and more about awakening the viewer. Her goal is to create pieces that spark energy, make an emotional connection and encourage confidence through color and form.

Her exhibition at The Zebra Gallery is one of several regional showcases for Jen, alongside upcoming shows this fall in Annapolis and Severna Park, among others. In addition to her work in the studio, she actively mentors emerging artists and contributes to the regional arts community.

For Jen, abstraction, color and movement are tools to communicate emotion in ways words cannot. Her exhibition in Easton offers viewers a chance to experience that philosophy firsthand.
