Allegiant Private Wealth provides a full-service approach to its clients and community—including holistic financial planning, lifestyle and wellness benefit
Wellness and balance extend far beyond fiscal fitness and a diversified portfolio for Christine Selzer and the Allegiant Private Wealth team.
“We are so much more than investment professionals to the clients and communities we serve,” says Christine, a Certified Financial Planner™ and the lead Private Wealth Advisor at Allegiant Private Wealth (APW).
Rooted in Ocean City for more than 30 years, Christine has navigated market cycles from the dot-com era to the 2008 financial crisis and beyond. Her expertise has earned her a spot on Forbes 2025 list of Best-in-State Women Wealth Advisors in Maryland.
The APW team brings a collective 90-plus years of combined experience and includes her husband, Brian Selzer, CRPC, Brody Grove, CFP, Business Development Specialist Hunter Selzer and support staff members Kendall Holmes and Melanie Konoski.
Christine’s emphasis on a long-term, relationship-driven approach blends traditional planning values with modern tools to enhance client service. And a holistic approach to wealth planning and living a full life in every way has inspired a robust series of community-centered occasions, from yoga nights to sip-and-paint parties to vision board creation events.
APW dedicated a welcoming space in its Ocean Gateway office to let clients and associates experience the team’s well-rounded approach to finances and lifestyle planning. Christine says, “As Certified Financial Planners, our work includes estate and tax planning services, so we offer a full toolbox and provide a big-picture approach. This extends to life and how clients want to spend their days.”
She adds, “While growing my career, I spent a lot of time serving the community, and now we are finding creative ways to give back to clients.”
Connected to Strategy
Clients’ lives change, as do market cycles, and the economy is subject to a deep range of influences—the importance of planning remains consistent. By connecting in meaningful ways with clients—from involvement in local groups to discussions about “what’s next”—APW can tailor comprehensive and personal strategies.
Importantly, Christine notes that APW manages all assets in-house to effectively customize portfolios.
“We have full administrative support and CFP professionals, so clients can rely on us to guide the next generations of their families,” Christine adds, emphasizing the practice’s all-encompassing nature.
This is a value she shares; Christine and Brian raised their two grown sons on the Eastern Shore. “We love that our clients can walk in the door, do business locally and put a face to a name,” she says.
Equally important is APW’s designations in multiple states so clients can “travel” with the firm, knowing that the personable, white-glove service they experience in Maryland crosses borders.
Planning for Life
“So many people dedicate their time to accumulating their wealth but then they don’t always relax into it,” says Christine, explaining the impetus behind APW’s expanding outreach. “What’s most important to keep in mind is: What is the meaning of your wealth? How do you want to spend it and preserve it?”
For some clients, this means volunteering more. For others, traveling the world. “We love creating a budget for clients so they can see different places,” she says. “And they send us pictures while they travel, which is really a big compliment.”
With a range of lifestyle goals and expectations, being able to trust an experienced financial and wealth management team is vital, Christine says.
The popularity of APW’s yoga series has prompted more classes being offered at APW’s office, and Christine is excited about how a vision board night will help clients process and prioritize how they want to spend their time and money.
Christine says, “We want to give our clients a safe space to enjoy life and enjoy their wealth.” CS
