I recently had an oil change at Pohanka Volkswagen in Salisbury, Maryland. Just a few days afterwards, I was notified by my wife that the oil light had come on. I instructed her to pull off the side of road immediately and shut off the engine of fearing more damage once I got there, and I was over an hour away. I stopped to pick up oil. My wife checked the oil in the car and it was at or below the ad oil mark on a dipstick once I got there I added 2 quarts of oil to bring it up to the full mark obviously there wasn’t an inexperienced technician if you wanna call it that That changed the oil in my wife’s car, they were negligent in putting a proper amount of oil in the car to bring it up to the full mark on a stick I do have a photo to show if you’re interested lucky for Pohanka that serious engine damage was avoided. My wife had called the dealership which from her location was probably about 15 minutes. The person on the other line said they would send someone I was in the state of Maryland when she called me. I made it there before they got there as for me and mine. I will no longer visit any Pohanka dealership for repairs oil changes or anything else. It’s very very sad and you don’t trust the dealership to put a right amount of oil in the car.
