Compass Mental Wellness Services of Seaford recently celebrated two milestones: its three- year business anniversary, and for the third year in a row, it has been crowned the Best Counseling Center and Best Mental Health Professional of Sussex County by the readers of Coastal Style.

Compass Mental Wellness Services is a veteran-owned practice, with approximately 20 experienced professionals on staff, including two Marine Corp veterans, who take pride in serving a broad range of clients. “We are very much based on neuroscience. It is a more concrete perspective than is usually practiced within the mental health community,” says Eric Johnson, PhD, owner and licensed psychologist at Compass Mental Wellness Services.

The team at Compass Mental Wellness Services is made up of professionals with diverse educational and professional backgrounds. They bring extensive experience in treating patients with depression, addiction, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD and many other health conditions.

“We’re really out to help folks, not only to address symptoms, but also help them walk away as close to being cured as absolutely possible. Our goal is to really help patients solve the core of the problem, and we do this from a brain-science point of view,” added Chip Basel, LPCMH, licensed therapist.

Compass Mental Wellness Services is currently accepting new patients. In addition to therapy and psychiatry, the practice also provides primary care services under primary care nurse practitioner Ashley Taylor, MSN, APRN, FNP-C.

Another important element of Compass Mental Wellness Services’ work is hosting internships, as well as encouraging continuing research and publication. The internship program has hosted several interns since inception, including pre-licensure and post-doctoral candidates. Recently, Dr. Eric Johnson collaborated with pre-licensed therapist Tiffany Hollis, M.S., to write a chapter that was published in An International Collection of Multidisciplinary Approaches to Violence and Aggression.

Compass Mental Wellness Services is pleased to share that the practice will be pursuing a physical expansion at its current location in 2024.

  1. Everyone comments on your Facebook post but they don’t buy. You wanna know why? It’s because they’re there to watch cat videos and an algorithm showed them your ad simply because they may have been talking about your services to someone else around their phone or else they read or watched something related. It doesn’t mean they’re a “targeted” lead by no means. Now I’m messaging you on your contact form now because I know you’re a business owner who runs a website that needs more new clients. I mean who doesn’t need new clients? Even if you have too many now, don’t think they’re gonna stay with you forever – especially in today’s political climate where large contracts evaporate like water in the desert. I can put your ad in front of other like minded people who own websites just like you! Shoot me a reply now and I’ll gladly send over details and pricing.

Thanks for reading this and if you’re not interested then I am truly sorry to disturb you (but I would still love to show you how this can work for you!)

    Warm Regards,

    Phil Stewart
