Lacey Coleman is something of an anomaly in the HVAC world. Rarely do you find women-owned businesses in this industry. At conferences and national seminars, other attendees often think she is attending as a spouse.

But Coleman owns it.

And she is proud of the family-owned business she guided into growth mode during the last decade, after she took ownership from her father, Kevin Coleman Sr., who founded Coastal Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning, in 2005.

Coleman learned the business and HVAC industry alongside her dad, and after earning a business degree, returned to Coastal Comfort. “I love the industry and I learned it from the ground up,” she relates.
