Ocean View Jewelers was founded in 2017 by jeweler Ruben Palazzo after 47 years of extensive industry experience, and it is obvious that his family has embraced his vision and work ethic. Each member of the Palazzo family is involved. Palazzo’s wife, Cathy, is a pearl expert with
25 years of pearl-stringing experience; daughter Alessandra is the chief financial officer;
daughter Sabrina provides designs; while son Sergio is the chief operating officer, spending most of his time working with clients. The two youngest children are learning the craft and how the business operates.

Ocean View Jewelers is dedicated to the artistry of custom-made jewelry but embraces current technology, like computer-aided design (CAD) and 3D printing, to create the most precise jewelry possible. Since working with their clients to create and deliver exceptional jewelry is their priority, the steps they take to ensure a client is happy are crucial.

Repairing jewelry is the largest part of the business, with custom-made jewelry running a close second. “Most people don’t know that they can have a piece of custom-made jewelry for about the same price as a ready-made piece,” Sergio said with noticeable passion in his voice. He explains that much of the custom-made jewelry is repurposed from older pieces that a client does not wear and fashioned into something new and treasured for years to come.
