Award-winning design begins with vision—and that is precisely what defines That Design Studio (TDS). Founded by Steve Simpson, TDS has become one of the Eastern Shore’s premier destinations for cabinetry and custom interior design, recognized for turning inspired ideas into stunning living spaces.
With more than 25 years of home remodeling experience, Steve brings both artistry and technical expertise to every project, creating custom environments that balance aesthetics, high-end function, and lasting value.
From kitchens and primary baths to custom built-ins, home offices, and outdoor living areas, TDS specializes in translating client goals into seamless reality. At the studio’s state-of-the-art showroom in Rehoboth Beach, clients are guided through a hallmark three-step design process. It starts with initial discovery and inspiration, moves into site measuring and detailed 3D design renderings, and finishes with hand-selected materials. Clients select from top-tier cabinetry brands—including Fabuwood, Legacy Crafted, Bridgewood, Signature Custom, Plain & Fancy, Wood-Mode, and American Outdoor Cabinets—paired with premium hardware and countertops.
TDS also collaborates directly with the region’s finest architects, homebuilders, and interior designers, ensuring precision craftsmanship whether building new or remodeling an existing layout. What truly distinguishes TDS is the team’s commitment to a personalized, stress-free experience. Steve and his staff view every space as an opportunity to deliver custom functionality tailored specifically to how a family lives.
When you are ready to reimagine your home, That Design Studio remains your trusted local standard for design expertise and cabinetry excellence.
