We titled this image “On Golden Pond” as our Parting Shot to close this issue.

A brilliantly setting winter sun paints breathtaking colors across the sky to the west of Ocean City. Okay, we know the Assawoman Bay is not a pond, but we couldn’t resist the opportunity ­­— and neither could this couple, who captured the moment with their cellphone cameras.
