Michael Jordan enjoys a cigar as he relaxes on his boat, Catch 23, after a day of offshore fishing in the 47th White Marlin Open in Ocean City on Friday, August 7.

This is the NBA legend’s second consecutive year fishing in the world’s largest billfish tournament, which set records for entrants (433) and prize money ($6.7M) in 2020.

Jordan’s Catch 23 displayed four white marlin catch-and-release flags Friday.

A 97 lb. white marlin, the third largest in tournament history, caught on the sixth day of the event by Brandon Golueke from Chester, MD, won the prized division and earned $1,850,000. Golueke fished aboard Canyon Blues from Ocean City.
