Since 1999, Emily’s Produce has been a cornerstone of Dorchester County, growing from a humble roadside tent into one of the region’s most beloved farm markets. Founded by Kelly and Paul Jackson after their daughter Emily was born, the business has flourished into a thriving family operation rooted in honesty, service and quality.
Today, the market is celebrated not only for its locally grown fruits and vegetables, but also for its expansive offerings that include “u-pick” fields, homemade deli salads, fresh desserts, ice cream, catering and a variety of prepared foods. Families flock to Emily’s Produce for the wholesome products, the welcoming atmosphere, and the fun, seasonal activities that keep visitors returning from spring through fall.
At the heart of the business is a team of 35 dedicated staff members, many of whom have worked alongside the Jacksons for more than a decade. Their commitment to customer service is matched by the family’s devotion to community and to agriculture. With son Kyle finishing his degree at the University of Maryland College of Agriculture and Emily bringing her agri-business degree from Delaware Valley University back home, the next generation is proudly stepping into leadership.
More than a farm market, Emily’s Produce is a family legacy—proof that with hard work, community spirit and a love of the land, something grown from a simple idea can blossom into a trusted name on the Shore.
