The Eastern Shore Ballet Theatre takes the stage in April for a rousing performance of Alice in Wonderland at Wicomico High School
The Eastern Shore Ballet Theatre is set to present a delightfully entertaining adaptation of the classic tale Alice in Wonderland on April 28-29 at the Wicomico High School Auditorium in Salisbury.
This family-friendly production promises to transport audiences into the whimsical and magical world of Alice as she falls down the rabbit hole and encounters a host of memorable characters, including the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat and the Queen of Hearts. Artistic director Elena Manakhova has choreographed a playful and imaginative interpretation of Lewis Carroll’s beloved story and set it to an enchanting musical score, which includes pieces by Saint-Saens, Shostakovich, Offenbach and Delibes. With stunning costumes, the talented dancers of the Eastern Shore Ballet Theatre will bring this iconic story to life and charm ballet lovers and those new to the art form.
