Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1 (8-oz) wheel of Brie cheese
½ cup whole-berry cranberry sauce
¼ cup chopped pecans, toasted
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp orange zest
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 Tbsp craisins
1 Tbsp pecans, whole
Crackers or sliced baguette, for serving
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Filling: In a small bowl, mix cranberry sauce, toasted pecans, brown sugar and orange zest.
Assemble the Brie: Place the Brie in the center of the puff pastry. Spoon the cranberry mixture over top. Fold the pastry up and over the Brie, sealing tightly. Brush with egg wash.
Bake and Serve: Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool 10 minutes before serving with crackers or bread. Top with whole or chopped pecans and cranberry pieces, if desired.
