Adopting a local pet could make the perfect gift
Francie
Francie is a 1-year-old female. She loves to be loved and told what a pretty kitty she is. Francie lives for toys; this is one playful feline! We think this girl is super-photogenic, and who knows, she might be the next social media star!
Luna
Luna is an adorable pitty mix, and she is 2 years old. This sweetie is a champion hugger, and being close to her beloved people is what she craves. Luna has a very special need: She is blind, but she is able to see shadows and learns to navigate her world very quickly. Luna would be best as the only dog in the home.
FRANCIE AND LUNA are adoptable from the Humane Society of Wicomico County.
Rosalita
My name is Rosalita. I am a young girl, about a year old, who was found living outdoors. I am learning to socialize with the other cats here at the shelter, but I am a little timid and am used to fending for my territory. I would love a nice, quiet home where I can play, snuggle and feel safe.
Boris
I am Boris, a 6-year-old blue heeler-Catahoula Mix.
I am a very cool dude who goes with the flow. I am a little jumpy and can use some work on my manners.
I am sweet on a girl here at the shelter, so I definitely like the company of female dogs. I don’t seem to mind the male dogs here, so I’m sure I could make friends with anyone. I am a bit of an escape artist, so a high fence or leash walking would be best for me. I would do well with an active family, as I love the outdoors.
ROSALITA AND BORIS are adoptable from the Worcester County Humane Society.
Tulsa
Meet Tulsa, an 8-year-old Terrier-Mix! Tulsa was originally seized from an abandoned property and taken to ACCT Philly. There, she caught a bad doggy cold that sadly progressed into pneumonia. She had to be hospitalized, then remain in foster care for over a month, until her lungs were clear. She is a total attention hog who LOVES to snuggle, go for walks and master her food puzzles. She adores kids and gets along with most other pups but does need a home without kitties or small animals. She will need some help in the training department, especially since we believe she may be mostly deaf. Ask to spend time with our love-bug, Tulsa!
TULSA is adoptable from the Delaware Humane Association.
