At Eastern Shore Chic, Roberta and Robert Burke transform furniture into treasures—they breathe new life into everything from cherished family heirlooms to hidden yard-sale gems. Founded 11 years ago on a foundation of passion and partnership, this family-owned, Willards-based business combines timeless craftsmanship with contemporary design. The couple takes great pride in creating beautiful pieces that reflect their clients’ unique stories.
Roberta is the creative heart of the business, specializing in custom-painted finishes and exquisite faux wood-grain techniques. She has earned recognition from multiple paint companies and even won the Habitat ReStore flipping contest. Bob provides essential support—repairing furniture, updating hardware and ensuring each piece is both stunning and functional.
Clients love the Burkes’ personal approach. Every project is a thoughtful collaboration, from selecting the perfect paint colors to adding special touches that align with the client’s vision. Roberta and Bob deliberately keep their business small, allowing them to pour heart, skill and personal care into each creation.
Roberta and Bob also wanted to pay a special tribute to their son, Cameron, who was instrumental in starting the business with graphic design and online support. Cameron passed away at age 31 in May, but his spirit lives on in his parents, sister, family, friends and young son.
Whether renewing a beloved antique or refreshing an everyday item, Eastern Shore Chic guarantees the final result is meaningful, beautiful and ready to be cherished once again.
