1/4 cup cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla
12 eggs, beaten to create egg batter
Cap’n Crunch cereal
Confectioners sugar (optional)
Melba sauce (optional)
Preheat pan with canola oil to 350 degrees F. Make the batter combining the eggs, cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla and mix it with a whisk. Then dip and drench the Texas toast in your homemade French toast batter. Next, coat the toast with Cap’n Crunch cereal on both sides of the bread and cook.
Allow to cool for one minute and slice diagonally. Arrange on the plate and sprinkle the French toast liberally with confectioners sugar. Top with whipped cream. Serve with a side of melba sauce and a side of strawberries.
