THE FACES OF TILE AND FLOORING AT ITS FINEST

Founded in 1947, East Coast Tile & Flooring still thrives today by providing customers with great products and exceptional customer service

East Coast Tile & Flooring, one of the largest tile providers in the U.S., has a rich family history and deep local roots. The grandfather of current owner Mike Bradford founded the company in 1947 in Baltimore after serving in WWII. Mike’s father took ownership in the late ’70s and passed the company down to Mike after graduating from high school in 1985. Soon after, Mike relocated the company to the Delmarva area to be closer to family — this is where he met his wife, Dina, and started his own family.

In 2011, East Coast Tile & Flooring renovated a large commercial space and turned it into a spacious showroom in Pittsville. Today, East Coast Tile & Flooring maintains a reputation of being industry experts. Their showroom offers customers the opportunity to visualize their wide-ranging collection of marble, granite, glass, metal and ceramic tiles, which are imported from all over the world.

East Coast Tile & Flooring completes residential and commercial projects of all sizes, whether it be a small bathroom-tile renovation or a multimillion-dollar installation. Most of their jobs are completed within a five-hour radius of the Delmarva area. They specialize in providing custom installations that are tailored to the specific needs of each client. Their experienced staff is available to assist architects, designers, installers and customers on any size project and for any budget. They even offer full financing for projects of all sizes.

The company has won many awards for their exceptional workmanship over the years. Most recently they were awarded the Washington Building Congress (WBC) Craftsman Award.

Family is still the backbone of the business, and many of Mike’s family members, including two of his children, play key roles in the company’s success.

In the future, Mike plans to continue to remain a family-oriented business while expanding the company’s services and the locations they serve. He invites you to visit their showroom and meet their staff to experience the East Coast Tile & Flooring difference.
