THE FACES OF THE CENTER FOR AESTHETIC SURGERY

The Center for Aesthetic Surgery is a 1,600 sq. ft. ultra-modern, nationally accredited surgery center

When someone decides to enhance their appearance through cosmetic surgery, a world of new opportunities awaits. However, so does a host of unknown variables that could dramatically affect the quality of their care, privacy and results. The benefits, concerns and much more are personally and thoroughly addressed by the highly skilled and extensively trained professionals at Peninsula Plastic Surgery (PPS) and its Center for Aesthetic Surgery (CAS).

Under the same roof as PPS, The Center for Aesthetic Surgery is a 1,600 sq. ft. ultra-modern, nationally accredited surgery center that not only streamlines and facilitates procedures but also delivers patient privacy and individualized care and comforts. Board-certified plastic surgeons Drs. Vincent Perrotta and Christopher Pellegrino have performed a wide spectrum of cosmetic and medical surgery procedures at CAS, including more than 1,000 breast augmentations, 500 facelifts and 400 tummy tucks. Their all-encompassing list of services includes hand surgery, scar revisions, breast reductions, breast lifts and reconstructions, as well as liposuction and body contouring. Treatments for unwanted fat removal can be accomplished in multiple ways by the highly skilled team at CAS and range from non-invasive to minimally invasive. SculpSure is a non-invasive procedure that reduces and eliminates stubborn pockets of fat on the abdomen, thighs and back, to help patients achieve a natural-looking, slimmer appearance. PAL (power-assisted liposuction) lipo removes fat more rapidly than any other method. It’s an ideal body-contouring procedure for removing fat from the breasts, love handles and upper abdomen. The laser lipo is minimally invasive and provides smoother, tighter contour to areas of the body with cellulite or slight accumulations of fat resistant to diet and exercise.

Furthermore, CAS has performed thousands of skin cancer lesion removals in its OR, which drastically reduces the risk of infection for each patient. Mid-level providers Julie Parrish and Kerri Holloway are accepting patients for skin checks and guarantee to see them within two business days.

CAS also accepts referrals from local emergency rooms and has a Quick-Stitch program in place during regular business hours. This program guarantees that any child referred to the practice for closure of an isolated laceration will be seen within an hour, and the laceration will be closed within two.

Patients should feel confident knowing Peninsula Plastic Surgery and the Center for Aesthetic Surgery are the only plastic-surgery practice on the Eastern Shore to be accredited and nationally recognized for providing exceptional standards of care.

“Our patients and their families experience a comfort level that cannot be matched — always returning to a familiar place with familiar, friendly faces,” Dr. Perrotta said. “Our highly trained and caring staff is dedicated to making our patients’ experiences at CAS as comfortable as possible.”

Because Peninsula Plastic Surgery and CAS are located within the same building, patients are able to receive their consultation and meet members of their operating-room team on-site. This convenience doesn’t exist anywhere
else in the region. Patients elsewhere must venture to another facility or share their private information with yet another stranger. Not at PPS and CAS. Patients can take solace in the fact that PPS and CAS go to great lengths to ensure that their vital records and personal information
is safeguarded.

“Our staff maintains complete confidentiality and a high level of exceptional discretion for each and every patient,” Dr. Pellegrino said.

Peninsula Plastic Surgery’s wealth of experience and expertise extends beyond its Center for Aesthetic Surgery. The facility also includes the acclaimed Renaissance Medical Spa and an industry-leading laser center. Certified medical aestheticians Emily Coleman and Kyle Mills provide the latest skin treatments, to make patients look and feel their absolute best.  Ali Davenport, Laser RN, utilizes six state-of-the-art lasers and IPL treatments in the laser center to remove unwanted hair, tattoos, stretch marks, sun spots and more. Beginning in April, PPS will also offer laser services at its Millsboro location, in addition to their monthly laser offerings in Salisbury.

With an office in Millsboro, PPS offers residents of the Delaware and Maryland beaches a more convenient location. For these detailed reasons, and many more, it’s clear that Peninsula Plastic Surgery is the unrivaled leader of aesthetic excellence on the Eastern Shore.
