Coastal Style's Faces of the Shore 2017

Though there may be several cosmetic-surgery practices to choose from on the Delmarva Peninsula, there has never been one quite like Peninsula Plastic Surgery (PPS) in Salisbury. It’s because of an unrivaled combination of profoundly gifted practitioners, consummately educated and trained, with a depth of human compassion that is rare to find in any other venue.

It begins with its principals, Drs. Vincent Perrotta and Christopher Pellegrino. Dr. Perrotta served as an attending surgeon and Instructor of Plastic Surgery at Temple University but relocated to the Eastern Shore with wife Christina to raise their five children, launching PPS in 1995. Dr. Perrotta is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and is an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). He holds an Honors degree from Penn State and a medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. In 2013, he was awarded the Outstanding Public Health Leader for Wicomico County and has published several articles in national journals on important topics relevant to his field.

Dr. Pellegrino joined Dr. Perrotta at PPS in 2003, bringing with him a distinguished and impeccable pedigree of medical achievement. A graduate of the world-renowned Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Pellegrino received his medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He completed post-graduate training and his residency in general surgery at the Nassau County Medical Center in New York and his plastic-surgical residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Board-certified by the ABPS and the American Board of Surgery (ABS), Dr. Pellegrino and is an active member of both ASPS and ASAPS. He is also the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Dr. Pellegrino serves as a board member and surgeon for La-Merced, a medical mission, founded by Dr. Perrotta, that provides reconstructive surgery for underprivileged children in Nicaragua with congenital and acquired deformities. Dr. Perrotta and Dr. Pellegrino have completed their elite medical practice with Physician Assistant Julie Parrish and Kerri Holloway, PPS’ brand-new midlevel provider. Parrish is a 10-year veteran with a degree from Philadelphia University who is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Holloway, an Eastern Shore native, spent five years working in Peninsula Regional Medical Center’s Labor & Delivery department before recently graduating with a master’s degree in nursing, with a specialty as a family nurse practitioner, from Wilmington University. Although new to the full-time staff, Holloway is very familiar with PPS, having done rotations in its Center for Aesthetic Surgery and served as the practice’s director of nursing.

Together with their highly trained support staff, these four elite practitioners of state-of-the-art aesthetic medicine offer a vast roster of services that include full body contouring, reconstruction and enhancement of the face and neck, skincare, the full array of breast procedures and even hair restoration. As part of their proprietary Center for Aesthetic Surgery, PPS boasts the comfort, convenience and privacy of its very own, on-site, certified, accredited operating suite with three private recovery suites, an extreme rarity among private practices in the region to this day. PPS also enjoys a tandem of its own highly skilled, certified medical aestheticians, in the form of Emily Coleman and Kyle Mills, as part of its acclaimed Renaissance Medical Spa, a facility that features the latest minimally and non-invasive techniques and procedures to make you look and feel your absolute best. Add to this PPS’ industry-leading laser center, and there can be no doubt why thousands across the Eastern Shore regard Peninsula Plastic Surgery as the vanguard and standard-bearer of cosmetic and aesthetic excellence on the Delmarva Peninsula.

In addition to its 6,600 sq. ft. European spa-like headquarters in Salisbury, Peninsula Plastic Surgery also has an office on Commerce Drive in Millsboro, offering residents of the Delaware and Maryland beach regions a more convenient location.
